St. Patrick's Day, Inspired

This week we are fully immersing ourselves in the colour green, inspired by St Patrick’s Day. No fret though ladies, we are not talking about transforming you into the Incredible Hulk here; just subtle hints of this under-rated colour that we believe are beautifully complimentary to all skin tones for both glam and daytime looks.

Emerald Beauty

How gorgeous is this beautiful ‘Obsessions Precious Stones’ eyeshadow palette by Huda Beauty in Emerald? It’s a complete day-to-night eye colour wardrobe.

In this palette, green is the new black! You can create the most popping ‘all eyes on me’ eye colour or tone it down with an understated smoke and shimmer. The shadows are highly pigmented matte colours with a smooth and beautifully blend-able texture that make applying it an absolute dream.

Be A Rebel

A quartet of rose-gold, olive green and peacock blues make up this beautiful eyeshadow palette by one of our favourites, Charlotte Tilbury.

This palette will take you from day time to evening and in to the night with its wonderful versatility. Start off the day by adding a little of your favourite shade in the inner corners to open up your eyes and blend an enhancing shade from the outer corner across the crease of your eyelid.

Vivid and Vibrant

Not for the faint-hearted, Stila Shimmer and Glow Liquid Eyeshadow in ‘Vivid Jade’ is a high-impact green shimmer. The Stila Shimmer and Glow is one of our favourite must- haves. It is packed with pigment pearls, easy to apply, lightweight and long-wearing.

We highly recommend lavishing your lids in this beautiful product if you really want to make a statement.

Sage

One of the most wonderful things about the colour green is the various different shades. How gorgeous is this sage polish by Essie? So elegant and so unique.

This particular polish is intense, long-lasting and easy to apply with a wider brush than various another nail polishes you find on the high-street. Don’t forget to finish with a hardy top coat to ensure it lasts as long as possible.

Mix Up to Fix Up

Green is not only a striking colour, but a colour corrector too. Green is used to neutralise redness in the skin that sometimes cannot be hidden by foundation (no matter how many layers!)

Naked Skin Colour Correcting Fluid by Urban Decay is a skin-perfecting make-up tool that helps to camouflage spots, discolouration or inflammation. You can mix it up with a primer to tackle overall redness.

The amazing thing about this product, unlike some of the other correctors on the market, is that it doesn’t feel heavy, it’s super lightweight, smooth and silky!

Super Green

Whilst this product technically isn’t the colour green, it is green in every other way, including its super-green ingredients, so we think it still counts, right?!

Sukin Natural Skincare Detoxifying Clay Masque is the ultimate skin rescue and what’s more, it doesn’t cost the earth. Combining a blend of super greens including kale, spurlina, parsley and chlorella this beautiful mask works as a hydrating formula, locking in moisture for a healthy, dewy complexion.

A real treat for the skin!
